The Liberty High School girls basketball team recently presented Catskill Regional Medical Center (CRMC) with a check for $415. The funds were raised at a “Pink Out” fundraiser game on Feb. 21; all proceeds from the fundraiser were donated to CRMC’s Oncology Department.
On April 5, a group of eight students and Coach Beth Quantrale presented the check to Geri Orr, CRMC’s Assistant Vice President of Professional Services. The group then took a tour of the Oncology Unit at CRMC.
“I am really proud of the girls,” said Quantrale. “They wanted to do this fundraiser and did a great job spreading the word, decorating the gym and making up shirts. The event was fun and for a great cause.”
Cancer Care at CRMC includes a well-developed oncology program that offers a multidisciplinary team approach combined with quality care. The program continues to be distinguished by the excellent and compassionate patient care it provides. For more information or to schedule an appointment, contact the Hematology/Oncology Department at 845.794.3341.
A member of the Greater Hudson Valley Health System, Catskill Regional Medical Center is dedicated to providing the highest quality health care to residents in the Sullivan County region. For more information, call 845-794-3300 or visit www.crmcny.org.
