Glen Cove Hospital’s family medicine program has a new residency director as well as two new physicians.

The Glen Cove Hospital family medicine department provides primary, pediatric and prenatal health care as well as behavioral health and sexual health services. Brennain Flanagan, MD, and Lily Lam, DO, recently joined Glen Cove’s family medicine program. Dr. Flanagan graduated from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Southside Hospital. Dr. Lam graduated from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center.

Glen Cove Hospital’s family medicine program also has a new residency program director – James Mumford, MD. Dr. Mumford is a graduate of SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and completed his residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center.

All three physicians are certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

“Glen Cove Hospital’s family medicine program has been a staple in the community for many years and we are grateful to have these physicians continuing to help the program provide top-notch health care,” said Susan Kwiatek, DNP, executive director of Glen Cove Hospital.

The family medicine program is in the midst of raising $500,000 to match an anonymous donor’s gift to the program. To donate or for more information, contact Kaitlin Brownyard at 631-968-3324. To learn more about the family medicine program at Glen Cove Hospital, call 516-674-7300.
