The Metro New York North chapter of the American Red Cross will hold its annual Red & White Ball on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the NetJets Hangar at the Westchester County Airport.
Co-Chairs Lia DeNey and Colleen Hempleman are pleased to announce this year’s theme, “When Help Can’t Wait,” which embodies the mission of the Red Cross to provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.
Guests will enjoy an evening of cocktails, silent and live auctions, dinner and dancing to the vibrant sounds of Soul Solution.
The event will feature designer tabletops, with Victoria Hagan as the Red & White Ball Honorary Design Chair. Connecticut Cottages and Gardens will support the event as our Media Sponsor and the NetJets Hangar at Westchester County Airport will once again offer the ideal backdrop for the evening.
During cocktails, guests will be able to peruse stunning tables designed by 30 of today’s most creative designers, including Carey Karlan and Last Detail; Catherine Cleare Interiors; Epicure of Design; and Sandra Oster Interiors.
Proceeds from Red & White Ball allow the Metro New York North Red Cross to provide immediate humanitarian aid—food, shelter, financial assistance, temporary housing, mental health support and emergency supplies—to those in need. Funds raised at the Ball also allow Metro New York North Red Cross create needed response infrastructure and train highly skilled volunteers so that the organization is able to provide assistance whenever and wherever help is needed.
