Starlight Children’sFoundation NY*NJ*CT and Capital One Bank unveiled a Starlight Site™ Care Room at Children’s Hospital of New Jersey, Newark. While in the hospital, many seriously ill children spend the bulk of their time in treatment rooms. These rooms are often intimidating areas in the hospital. Starlight is addressing this issue by renovating rooms in hospitals across the tri-statearea with new Starlight Site™ Care Rooms.

The new Care Room at Children’s Hospital of New Jersey is designed with an “Around the World” theme that encompasses various cultures from across the globe. The bright new room was designed to help children receive treatment with ease and decrease stress. The room is decorated with a mural with the word ‘hello’ in 52 languages to greet
children from around the world.
