Former New Jersey Giants Super Bowl Champion David Diehl participated in the 14th annual BTIG Commissions for Charity Day in support of the Heart Failure Treatment and Transplant program at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of New Jersey, an RWJBarnabas Health facility.

Every year all-star athletes, top-recording artists, celebrities and cultural icons join BTIG traders to encourage clients to trade with them to support meaningful causes.

This year, the president and CEO of Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of New Jersey Darrell K. Terry, Sr., joined David Diehl to promote the importance of supporting Newark Beth Israel and its renowned heart transplant program, which is number five in the nation and located in one of the most under-served communities in Newark, New Jersey.

Mr. Terry took the opportunity to bring his case to other like-minded celebrities and icons on hand today, such as fellow New Jersey native and basketball superstar Shaquille O’Neal and former president Bill Clinton.
