Gear Up for Charity Ride
Story Number is : 091017102
Englewood Hospital and Medical Center

Andiamo Restaurant will host its 18th annual Benefit Motorcycle Run on Sunday, September 10 at 10:20 a.m., bringing together nearly 1,000 riders and thousands of participants in one of New Jersey’s largest fundraisers on wheels.
Led by a motorcycle police brigade, with representatives from police departments from all over New Jersey and New York, the ride departs from Andiamo Restaurant in Haworth and follows a 70-mile course through Bergen County, NJ and Rockland County, NY - as the course is fully escorted, your feet will never touch the ground. When the ride wraps up, Andiamo Restaurant hosts a block party celebration with food and entertainment.

Profits will support the Englewood Hospital and Medical Center Foundation, Haworth Volunteer Ambulance, Special Olympics, Haworth Police Auxiliary, Andiamo Scholarship to St. Therese School, and other local charities.

Don Dickstein, owner of Andiamo Restaurant, initially launched the run in 2000 to raise funds for the Cresskill Police Department, and has since expanded the event in support of additional charity beneficiaries.
