Bask in the sweet sounds of summer as the City of North Adams’ Concerts at Windsor Lake series continues on July 18. Opening to a crowd of over 200 last week, this free concert series takes place every Wednesday night at 7pm at the Windsor Lake Pavilion through Aug 29. Windsor Lake is located at 200 Windsor Lake Rd (at the intersection of Bradley St and Kemp Ave). These concerts combine great music with the beautiful natural backdrop of Windsor Lake. Bring a blanket or chair to sit on, or simply sit under a tree and listen to the music. Dinner and picnic specials will be available from Amy’s Café on the Lake, but people are welcome to bring their own food. Limited quantities of beer and wine are allowed. Parking is free, and swimming, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing are allowed at the lake. Tom Corrigan is a singer, song writer, and guitar player who performs throughout Massachusetts, New York, and Southern Vermont. A local favorite at such venues as Freight Yard Pub and The Red Lion Inn, Corrigan plays original compositions as well as tunes by Bob Dylan, the Rolling Stones, the Grateful Dead and much more! The Concerts at Windsor Lake continue through August 29 with the following schedule: July 25: Bang on a Can August 1: Jungle Work August 8: Champagne Jam August 15: NO CONCERT – DOWNTOWN CELEBRATION August 22: Miss Guided August 29: No Way Out (Sponsored by Eagle St Music) In the case of rain the concert will take place the following Sunday at 7pm. The Concerts on the Lake series is proudly sponsored by Hoosac Bank, a MountainOne Financial Partner. For more information call 413-664-6180 or email tourism@northadams-ma.gov
